Hi guys,

Everyone know more or less how a bandgap works and it principle of operation.

I was trying to understand the existing opamp topology and I am confused. So from the simple block diagram, we know that we have to add the scaled PTAT and CTAT voltages however how the very well known topology that we can find on razavi's book acomplishes this? I have looked at the adder and difference amplifier topologies using the opamp as a block and the circuits doesn't look the same/right.

How the adding is accomplished if the topology of the opamp doesn't follow the conventional known one?

Regards.

What about showing (or it least: referencing) the corresponding figures in Razavi's book? Or would you expect us to seek them ourselves?
BTW: Razavi has published more than one book!

You are right. I will try to do this tomorrow. Thanks.
