plz tell me why the transistor action can not take place by connecting 2 back to back diodes..?????

2diode connected back 2 back can't work as x'sistor

1. this makes base width large as compared to 2 another section & whole recombination is take place in base itself.

2. Since I = I0(exp(Eg/kt)-1) ,make larger reverse current rather than forward & this reverse current is negligible , thus doesn't provide current or voltage gain

PN is a junction.

You can't make junction by two diode.

"Metal -PN- Metal" with "Metal-NP-Metal" not same by "Metal-PNP-Metal"
