The sensor will react based on resistance of the water presence...

My question is ... What is the possibility of water (distil) resistance?

How much water are you trying to measure? Will the water be dissolved or as a separate phase? Do you need to measure both dissolved and separated? Do you need to quantitate it or just detect it? What is the fuel that you want to measure/detect water in, e.g., diesel, gasoline, gasoline-10% ethanol, E85, etc?
