hi..I have been trying to generate a audio tone wit spartan 6 using oscillator assigning its pin to input and audio output to speaker..in the ucf file I have just written the code to assign inputs and outputs but its not working...any suggestions to make my project to generate audio tone on spartan 6 happen...

Nobody talked about Spartan 6 before. What is it, a simulation program used by hardly anybody? Or is it a micro-controller?
A speaker must be driven with a power amplifier.

Spartan 6 is a FPGA board has an audio out which can be given to a speaker

I never saw one. I looked it up: "A field-programmable gate array (FPGA) is an integrated circuit designed to be configured by a customer or a designer after manufacturing".
