pga4311

Hi all!

A couple of weeks ago me and my boss encounterd a problem regarding the control of an audio system my firm is about to install.
The problem was this;
There are four rooms where sound from different sources are to be routed to.
this is done by a remote controller connected to a matrix (of some sort)
The point of this is that you can program the matrix for different events and then
just hit a buttun and ex the VCR and a michrophone is activated att appropiate levels.

I have now looked in to this a little and found that the PGA4311 from TI seems ideal controlled by a PIC or AVR.
For line driving i´m thinking of using ssm2141,42.

Now i´m looking for design tips regarding the matrix.
Have anyone here used the PGA4311?
Will this work at all?

Thanks!

EDIT: I have attached an image of the idea.
