Guys,

I want some opinions from you guys picking right Atmel/Atmega controller for my project purpose which following specifications:

1. UART connections
2. LCD display
3. Keypad 4x4
4. SD card write/read data

Without the function of the project it is hard to select a part..

with above requirements all can be done with atmega16

Hi, I'm thinking of picking atmega32.
Can I ask you question, does external clock affected writing/reading of SD card function ?
What's minimum clock signal speed to fed into Atmega in order to run properly ?

Because high clock signal speed will affect input/output of Keypad 4x4 which I have tested in PIC16series.

I'm looking for this for purpose taking RFID attendance project.
