Hi,

I am trying to use the potentiometer model to simulate a small circuit. My question is: is it possible to assign tolerance percentage to this .SUBCKT model. I've edited the PSPICE model using Model Editor and I added parameters like DEV and LOT without any changes to the simulation results. Any ideas on this matter?

Your time and patience are highly appreciated!

Did you understand the purpose of the tolerance parameter? It's only used for Monte Carlo statistical analysis.

FvM,

That's exactly what I'm trying to do. I thought I could assign a tolerance parameter to the POT model in the same way I would do it to a normal resistor.

Cheers.

The tolerance has to be assigned to the both resistors the potentiometer is comprised of. It might be easier to use two individual resistors.

I tried assigning tolerance to both of those resistors and it does not work. I used params like DEV, LOT, TOL, RTOL, TOLERANCE and nothing worked. PSPICE displays the error: "ERROR -- unknown parameter".
I reckon I'll be forced to use two normal resistors.

Thanks for your help.
