Pls suggest me a software devolopment tool for ARM9 Microcontroller.Better if u suggest a free one.(keil like)
I am using SBC 2800 Board and devoloping application related to SMS.

Keil Evaluation
IAR Evaluation

but these evaluation version will work for only about 30 days right? I want a permanent one..
 

GCC is free but not for beginners.
It is command line based and mostly used under *nix platforms.

I am using AT91SAM9260 for tx & RX thr UART , can anyone help me how i can do this transmition and reception of same data thr UART. which UART i prefer pls help.......

but there is gnuarm and winarm for windows.
will it not be for arm?

I have never used them.
I only used gcc and Keil or RVDS for ARM.
