I am looking for an I/Q mixer at 5.8 GHz ism band. Am using the HMC525lc4 now, but are there any others out there, especially any with built in op/amps at the I and Q outputs or maybe an LO amplifier built in (or possibly an onboard oscillator for LO)? Can not seem to find any.

you probably checked hmc951, it has lo and rf amps inside.
and hmc833 or max2870 for pll+vco maybe.
never seen one with build in opamps, you may need to use another opamp or IFDVGA for that.

Saw some advertising from Linear Technology in Microwave Journal about 5.8GHz mixer with LO and IF buffer. Check for it.

yes, sorry, I'm using it as a downconverter, with DC coupled I and Q outputs

wow, nice find BigBoss! but no, it needs 5 volts, Lithium battery only puts out 3.3 to 2.7V. Not sure why semiconductor manufacturers do not seem to know this fact!
