Does anyone know the MP3 file format?? How the MP3 file stor the song title?
Is it in ASCII code or string(alphabet)??
So how my LCD controller going2 display it out the song title?? Coz i wonder is in ASCII code.....
If in ASCII code, how we going2 write a function to display out the song title?? And is it the song title that in ASCII code have a NULL character to indicate end of word length?
Else how we going to know is end of the words length???

Anyone got simple example program or algorithm flow chart?? :)

Hi,
the last 128 bytes of an MP3 file contain the mp3 tag (ID3 Version 1) in plain ASCII. Each field is of a fixed length.

Song title 30 characters
Artist 30 characters
Album 30 characters
Year 4 characters
Comment 30 characters
Genre 1 byte

The Genre byte is an index (from 0 to 255) which indicates the genre.

On the net you can find these details... I once going through this from some site. I will inform you if I get that link again
