hi, I could not understand clearly about the target and initiator interface. Both has tx and Rx, so which one should I take?. What is it used for?. Can I use target alone?. Is target interface a master and initiator a slave?.

Thing is, it is quiet straight forward with Altera, Xilinx has kept this type of interface namings and just only confusing more...

If anybody has any idea please share?...
Thanks

Clarified!!!....

Target interface request port - Incomming request from remote endpoint.
Target interface response port - immediate response for the target via target port for same endpoint

Initiator request port - Send req\data to target device
Initiator response port - Target reponses back for the initiator query previously
