I need to design an ultra cheap narrow beam antenna for an industrial application. My current design uses a tapered slot antenna feeding a plastic lens, but the cost of the lens in teflon is way too high for the expected application. Anyone know of a cheap plastic that has reasonable loss at KaBand or V-band?
hi i am looking for a design for an 868Mhz internal antenna or PCB design that will give good performance in hand held application any help would be greatly appreciated.
i am interested in TSA (Tapered Slot Antenna), generally TSA is a broadband and endfire antenna.
i do not know how to feed teflon lens to get narrow beam on your antenna.
how about use fresnel zone plate lens antenna or fresnel zone plate reflectarrays
if your application is not wideband in Ka or V-band?
here is one example,
Printed Millimeter-Wave Reflectarrays **broken link removed**
here is one book but i dont have,
KLUWER academic publishers | Fresnel Zone Antennas **broken link removed**
and anybody who has more information about Fresnel Zone Antennas,
please let me know.
