is the unity gain bandwidh of an open loop amplifier equal to the 3 dB bandwidth when it's in it's closed loop configuration?

why?

NOT AT ALL!

Firstly, the unity gain BW of amplifiers do not depend upon the feedback loop. Secondly, U can calculate the UGB in DB by adding the gain (in db) to ω3db (in log scale)

Hi amriths04:
the unity gain bandwidh = The frequency when
A(open-loop)=0db

this is a law.we say that this value is acceptable .(0.7) and attenuation is negligible.but in other freq the attenuation is high and not acceptable.
