Hi,

I'm new to Altium and just going through the tutorials. I am currently working on **broken link removed**

I have my components placed and have created some design rules. (Pictures attached)

The design rules are not working as expected. When I have the Width Rule (12,12,12), no traces are routed at my preferred 25mils width for 12V or GND. When I increase the Width rule to (12,12,50), all the traces except GND are routed at 25mil. I can't seem to change this using shift+w either.

I thought I had followed the tutorial exactly but the traces are not coming out to be the right widths that I thought they would be with the design rules.

Help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Whenever you create a new rule it will be in higher priority.
Check whether rule for +12v and gnd is in higher priority.
Else try defining netclass for +12v and gnd and define rule

Cool-that seems to do it. Thanks!
