Hello guys,

I opened a Samsung charger , and there's a big 2.2uf capacitor inside it. How can I use a smaller alternative ? can tantalum or SMT capacitors be used ? or maybe another solution to instead of the whole circuit ?
I want to create a smaller circuit

Please Check the circuit

Thanks in advance

Given the WVDC you may not have much choice beyond going to a different design.

Which dimension is the problem? width[and so the height from the pcb]? length? Unless the photo is giving the wrong impression, I dont see that reducing the cap's size will make a huge difference to the overall size.
