avalon to ahb

Hi all...

I have a few old bits of AMBA-AHB compliant (I think) components/entities that I created back when I was in school.

I am trying to import them into the SOPC Builder by using the Component Editor (File / New Component... in the SOPC builder window).

I select the VHD file, and the pins show up correctly in the Signals tab.
When I try to assign them, the only interface options I get are:
global_signals
avalon_slave_0
new avalon slave...
new avalon_tristate slave...
new avalon master...
new nios_custom_instruction_slave...

How can I tell the Component Editor that this is an AHB slave?
If the SOPC Editor supports an avalon-to-ahb bridge, then it must be able to support AHB slaves, no?

I'm very new at this, and any help / explanations / enlightenment would be immensely appreciated.

Thanks.

avalon to ahb bridge

According to Altera's support group, Quartus II Web Edition does not support this feature.

A special license is required for that functionality.
Thanks anyway for your attention.
