Allegro PCB - How to insert vias in shape ?

Hi,
For my first design with Allegro 16.5, I need your help for a simple action.
I placed a shape (GND) and now I need to insert vias in the right position.
I try to copy a via but impossible to add in the shape after the copy action, and I can see something very simple like "Add via".
 


hello, I too faced the same problem. But found a soluton. follow these steps.

1. Double click on the shape on which you want to add vias.

2. select add connect form the popmenu.

3. Right click after 2 and select addvia in the pop menu.

4. via will be addded on tour shape.

5. copy the via and paste with in the sahpe as per your data sheet.
 

you can copy vias from some other place and stitch on the required shape but while copying remove keep net name option...
