agilent ads simulator

Does anyone have a design example on Rayleigh fading in ADS. I have to validate the theoretical SER from Proakis 3rd edition but I have problems with the coherent demodulation. Has anyone tried this in ADS Ptolemy and can help?

ads simulation

ADS has standard fading models via it's Ptolemy simulation environment. Rayleigh fading is a standard fading profile for Ptolemy. I beleive these components are found in the Antenna and Propagation library. All of the fading models are based on Rayleigh PDFs and the basic "Fader" model implements this explicitly if you set the Rician factor to 0.

Hope this helps.

Merci de m'aider
