Is there is any book for PIFA or FICA except Planar Antennas for wirelessc ommunication and Compact Broad Band Microstrip Patch Antenna by Kin-Lu-Wong.
Hi,
I'm currently designing a UWB patch antenna using CST MWS. I got all the results i want such as S11,radiation pattern etc. The line impedance of my antenna also got 50 ohms. But what is confusing me is the smith chart not all 50 ohms at my desired frequency (3.1 - 10.6 GHz). Is smith chart still important since i already got 50 ohms at line impedance? And what would happen to the fabricated antenna if the smith chart not 50 ohms?
i'm doing a square microstrip antenna, but i dont how to do the ground plane, i mean, i´m not sure if ground plane must have a specify size. Or must have the same size of the square!
Thanks!!
Best regards!!!
Added after 37 minutes:
the square dimensions are 27mm x 27mm and i used a quarter-wave length with 13.86mm x 0.085mm!!

hi at first define u antenna frequency and upload u antenna pic or simulation file. The ground size related to u design and u aim that u want achieve but should have ground and it impossible with out ground
