Hi - I have an 8PSK signal that is oversampled for a factor of 10. I would like to know if I want to add noise to to my oversampled signal, and I don't want to use Matlab's AWGN blindly, so how do I scale the noise power to account for the oversampling factor if I have Eb/No values? Do I need to calculate Es/No first? If so, how does my oversampling factor come into the equation? Is the noise variance scaled by the oversampling factor? I would appreciate your help in advance... equations would be most appreciated also.

-- Thanks!
