jitter matlab

Hello All,
I am new to Simulink/Matlab and need a small help from the experts:

I need to add timing jitter to my PLL reference clock.I tried adding Gaussian noise Generator output with reference generator output but I am getting only voltage noise instead of timing noise.

Can some one please help?

thanks a lot.

gaussian jitter matlab

the timing jitter is the variation of period, not amplitude, so randomize the period of reference clock.

timing jitter

that is precisely my question..i couldnt figure out how to add noise to zero crossings..
