Hi
As in the attached schematic, we wish to add a 1.2V offset to the signal “HSIN”.
The circuit does it but needs two opamps and a negative supply. Is their not a lower component count way of doing this?

Hi,

What precision do you need?
What is the load impedance?
And how is "vbus/300" made?

Klaus

Thanks, Precision around +/-0.05v
vbus/300 is made from a potential divider fed to a opamp buffer.
Load impednace >10Meg

Hi,

Still unclear how the Vbus/300 is generated.

Thus the simplest circuit I can think of:
V_bus/300 - 1.2V shunt reference - (output) - pullup.

Here's a single supply, single op amp circuit that adds the offset.

How do you plan on generating the 1.2V?
