Hi Guys,

I have a question here. Currently I'm desiging a Differential Transimpedance Amplifier for 10Gbps in CMOS. Basically it is a 2 stage amplifier followed by a 50ohm buffer. Now my question is when i measure the 3dB bandwidth of the TIA, should i consider the 50ohm buffer in the bandwidth calculation or just include the last stage of gain stage to the input current. I have seen in some journals that they include the buffer for bandwidth measurement and others the ignore buffer. Pls clarify on this.

Thanks in advance,
