hi guys,
I am creating the stepper motor driver with A4989 stepper driver ic. every thing is OK but the motor is generating too acoustic noise. the circuit is used for converter is shown below:
Capture1.JPG

other configuration for a4989 is:
PFD2 = 1, PFD1 = 0
MS2 = 0, MS1 = 0
SR=1

In your opinion, what's the bug?
Is that configuration for converter is problem?
Any help is appreciated !!

Hi,

it´s not a bug.

it´s more likely a resonance of the coil windings. Try to change your frequency.
This is why often the coils are immersion-lacquered.
The sound then comes from the moving of the coil windings. The problem with moving windings is, that the isolation may wear out earlier and thus the motor may fail.

If this is a high reliable application try to find a suitable motor.
