Hi all,

In my verilog-A code there is an inout pin A1 ,when I try to access the current through that pin
by say I(A1) it gives me the following error '"Following devices form a loop of dc short"

I dont understand why?
Can anyone help ?

thanks

I think with I(A1) the simulator can't decide upon which current is meant: input or output current?

Try to connect an output load, or an input Vsource (perhaps with DC=0V) and measure the current outside the I/O pad.

My problem has got solved
ie when ever I wana use voltage or current of the inout pin, first transfer that value to a variable say ia , ie I(A) = ia, now use ia where ever
u want to use I(A).

Thanks
