ABstract generation from CDS

I have a design with two topcell, when i want to generatte a abstract for every cell from the cadence database CDS there is an error indicated that there is an overlapped cells (these topcells). can anyone help me to work around this error

The way I've seen something like this done is you abstract all leaf cells in the design, then abstract macro cells. First LEFs of the leaf cells are abstracted, then the macro block DEFs are created in something like Encounter, then the DEFs are imported back in the abstract tool, then the abstract creates a LEF view from the routed description.
