I have a queation about convergence criteria, described in The Designer's Guide to Spice and Spectre (by Ken Kundert)
In the book on page 20,
It is stated that "The first criterion specifies that KCL should be satistied to a given degree,
|fn(vk)|<error (eq. (2.7))
, where error is some small positive number"
My question is, what is subscript n of the equation?
I think there is no explanation for the subscript.
any circuit bigger than a battery and a light bulb has two or more equations that must be solved simultaneously.
the n subscript is the nth equation
that is, there is a statement like "|fn(vk)|<error (eq. (2.7))" for each of the n equations that need to be solved.
