about the antenna design.

who can tell me whether the application of microstrip antenna is broad and where it can be used ?
 

hi:
the microstrip antenna is the best choice of practical application in many fields because of it's:
low weight, low profile, ease of fabrication , compatible with printed circuit technology , conformable with curve body's of missles ,aircraft ,spacecraft & etc. and also the ability of various type design.
there for it is expectable that the application of this type of antenna be wide.

but the tolerance of power is not very larg. how can it be used in some military projects?
 

One disadvantage in military projects is the narrow bandwidth. Many military bands are very wide.
 

does some cellphone use the microstrip antenna?
I donnt know the future of microstrip antenna.
 

Remember that PIFAs are an example of today application of microstrip antennas, installed on laptop and cellphone.
 

Fractal microstrip antenna are now very anteresting example of today application (broad band)
