Dear all,
Can I use mobile battery charger(Samsung or Nokia) to run my microcontroller based electric bell(230v) control project?having rating 800ma/5v.

Hi,

a true "charger" won´t work, because it´s output voltage is not constant.

Ofter the so called "chargers" are simple wall wart with at least filtered DC output or regualted DC output. Then you have a chance.

To make a reliable power supply for your project, use a battery or make a regulated laboratory power supply from a 12 V, 1A wall power source. Some types are available with a switchable voltage output, but add a filter and adjustable regulator with LM317 T or 7805...7812 IC.
Only after you finish your project and check the exact voltage and current is needed, then try the "charger" with an added voltage regulator.
