Hi, Everyone:
I got a new project that asks me to design a SMPS. The specifications is not strict, but its input line frenquency should be 50/60/400Hz. I checked lots of chips and examples of circuits, their input frequency always are 50/60Hz. I hope to know how to match this requirement in my design.

Best regards

Jim

Hi jim2010,
If the SMPS is to be one that takes line voltage and steps it down to 12v or something DC, the input line frequency shouldn't be much of a factor, as you need to convert the line voltage to DC for SMPS anyways and 50,60 or 400Hz will make no difference when converted to DC.

Hope this helps.
Tahmid.
