A question of Inductors

Hi,

I'm in need of making two inductors, frequencies bet 2 - 6megahertz, and capacitance of 100uF

1. 330uH@6+Amp 24V
2. 1000uH@100mA 24V

I teroid ferrite rings as well.

Can some tell me how many turns are needed for each and what gauge wire is needed too.

This is the only thing stopping me from finishing my project.

Thanks in advance.
Robert

Re: A question of Inductors

Most commercially available cores have published AL values ..
The formula for inductance is:
L = n² x AL
where L is the inductance in henries and n is the number of turns ..
https://www.bytemark.com/products/ferral.htm

The current density of the winding can be for example 3 A/mm² ..
So, if you need 6A the cross section should be ≈ 2mm² ..

Rgds,
IanP
