Hi every1...
well i would like to know that whanever we write a word on EEPROM it acks with a zero (ryte??? )... n when we read the UC acks with a one(is iz true???)... plz help me get out of this puzzle... thx!!!

Regardless of the type of operation (write or read) the SDA lead is brought high (high impedance) to allow the EEPROM to acknowledge by bringing the lead LOW (if operation was successful) ..
In some write operations the EEPROM may be polled several times for an acknowledgement. If none is recieved, it is assummed the write failed and the program is exited with an appropriated message ..

Regards,
IanP
