Dear Friends,
I am not getting Vcc at the reset pin..(Pin. No. 9)

I changed the crystal.. I also checked for any short circuits.. But, nothing is short...
What else can I do?
Shall I replace the reset capacitor?

Please help me with the solution..
Thanking you in advance..

In addition to above, I have also checked microcontroller, which is working fine on another circuit

in addition to the capacitor there should also be a resistor from the pin 9 to ground. say a 10K resistor....while you place a capacitor from the Vdd to the reset pin also.

the positive terminal of the capacitor should be connected to Vdd while the negative terminal should be connected to the reset pin
hope this helps...

Just make simple connection like given circuit....
