I need a battery for my circuit which would run isolated for a long time. Power is extracted through bursts. e.g. 1A bursts 5 times a day.

I wish to use a 6000mAh battery. Because I want it to last really long.

can someone tell me a battery type I should be interested in?
Would a LiPo do?

What is the battery type with high mah ratings and lowest leakage currents?

Thank you for the information.

Helped me!
