power estimation is one of the important issues in digital design. one of the best papers about power estimation techniques in VLSI domain is here.
lease send any more if you want.
I think this would be a good open discussion to discuss about levels of power estimation and it's methods and software tools that do this work.

it is NOT a practise method,,,,
power estimation is a hard work...
