Hi,

I am using a VHDCI connector to connect two boards. One is FPGA and another one contains DAC3484. Everything is ok, except for I need 3 pins and I have 2 left =/ The pins I need to connect are = > https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/dac3484.pdf => SDO (B27), SDIO (A30), SDENB (B28), SCLK (A31). Although I mention 4 pins I could leave SDO (B27) and use SDIO (A30) for Data In and Out. These are serial interface pins. (Page 26 Datasheet).
My question is: I'll use FPGA to control DAC3484. What kind of ICs are there two make use of the same pin twice? (Like buffers or something)
I've never done it before and I have no idea how to use this kind of logic ICs or connect. Please give me some examples.

thanks beforehand and best regards

den

I would try something like "automatic" SDEN generated by a monoflop from SCK. E.g. set SCK to high in idle state, trigger the monoflop on low SCK level, elongate SDEN low by one clock period.
