I wanna to display one string in 8x8 dot matrix display. I written one code to display 5 character ,but it does not work .so i herewith added my code and Hardware connection.

Compiler is Mikro C
Controller is PIC16f877a
Shifting reg is 74HC595
Display is 8x8


please make correction or give sample code for my hardware dear friends .

I am expecting your valuable replay
