89c51 programmer circuit -need help

hi i am karthikeyan
i have made a programmer from the website
www.kmitl.ac.th/~kswichit/easy2/easy2.htm
but the programmer is not working. I have used max232 instead of ds275 is it ok ?
can anybody help me in making a programmer.

I think that you can build this " ATMEL 89 Series Device Programmer" circuit, it's easy to do.
