8051 to atmega code converter

i have already established my assembly code using 8051 , but i need to convert it to work on atmega uc , can i do this ????

Practically no, the architectures and registers are different. C code will be more portable

so can i convert the assembly code to c and then using it for atmega , if it can tell me about a compiler to do it , thanx for ur repaly
