Hi guys, does anyone know of any 8051 flash device with at least 70 I/O pins. I don't need speed, just lots of pins.

Cheers
Eddie

70 io pins means 9 ports of 8 bits. I don't think you will find such 8051. You can use i2c expanders like PCF8574t or latches/d-type flipflops like 74xx573/574 instead.

87c550 family has 55 i/o pins.
MAX7300 2-Wire-Interfaced 20-Port and 28-Port I/O Expander.

There is a chip that has that number of pins and even more !
Is in the triscend E5 familiy ..
Check them out : www.triscend.com
I think that cygnal may also have some other posibilities

Silicon Laboratories (formerly Cygnal)l F02x and F12x chips have up to 8 I/O ports...
