12v dc motor drive circuit

hey guys,
I am making a motor driven wheel chair and for that i need a motor driver circuit. The specifications of the motor are:
1) 12v DC Brushed motors
2)80 watts

I need the driver circuit for variable speed control.I have tried sarching for it on the net but was not successful. It would be really helpful if You could guide me regarding the same.

Take a look at Microchip application notes. They have quite a lot of motor driving circuits and example code for motor control.

thanks for links guys but i have already searched those links couldnt find much.
can anyone suggest any driver circuits which involves relays and mosfets?
if possible pl send me the schematics.
