Hi,

I need a IR remote receiver with 6, or more different outputs, to control a A/V equipment.. I searched on google, and here, but the resoults are without source code(or just HEX files)... I need to modify it, to control a display, and buttons too, and i have not enough time to disassemble it...

Any ideas, where to find a reciever? (fixed, RC5, or learning variant...)

hi
dear
you can use ready made IR transmitter/reciever (Encoder/decoder) ICs
best one is PT2248/PT2249 pair
it can give you about 8 channels
if you go with PT 2248/PT 2250
Then you can get 18 channels
just get the data sheet from net
and use

Hi,

I know, that there are some IC's for remote applications, but I need to integrate it, and I have the remote transmitter, and it is in use already, but there are 8 not used buttons. I need to use them. It's an RC5 remote.
