I need to wirelessly enable a device over a 433MHz link, but the cost has to be under $10.... (in quantity of hundreds and above). Here are the main features:

- 100m outdoor coverage area
- Under 1w power
- ISM 433MHz band
- Half-duplex communication

A micro is provided to run the software required for decoding, protocol stack etc (so need not be part of the BOM).

Any suggestions for a chip/module to use?

Thanks RobinH, but these modules are much too expensive. Basically I am talking about creating such a module from scratch, if none can be found for the relevant price.

I'm not sure of the cost.
I think the 53050 itself is less than $2, but again I'm not sure.
I also don't know what the total BOM would be with the 53050.
I know a little about it, so if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Looks like the AMIS-53050 is approx. $3 US.
