4 volts to 5 or 6 volts

Hello sir

I hv a 4 volts 1 amp rechargable cell , now some conditions are here in such a way that i need to make this 4 volt to a 5 & a 6 volt , means i ve to step the voltage up so how could i ??

please help . . thanks
 

Look at Texas Instruments, Maxim, Linear, etc. There's plenty of information out there.
