Sir,
Do u mean to say JHD12864E need external driver chips or are they on board the Glcd?
And i'm trying to interface it with 8051 micro-controller....
So do u have any suggestions about it?.....

No, the display driver chipset to which I refer is incorporated into the GLCD.

JHD12864E Datasheet

The above datasheet indicates the GLCD utilizes a S6B0108 chipset which is in fact compatible with the KS0108 as I previously mentioned.

You'll need to register to download the source code from the above site.

Interfacing AT89S52 with GLCD

The above link features a development board with a KS0108 compatible GLCD, documentation, schematics and source code are available for download.
