DDR Memory Design Rules and Basics about Designing

Hi all ,

I am working first time on a Controller where there are DDR signals are being used with DDR SDRAM . There are NAND ,NOR Flash also in the project .

I havnt worked in DDR related PCB ,
Please can any one help me to understand the Basics of DDR , what is this and what are the Design Guidelines and Technical ,Engineering Requirements .
Pls help
