16X2 LCD problem when high current inductive load switching

Hi ,
am controlling an inductive load 24v dc ,10amp load through 8051 controlling..some times the lcd data is getting disturbed..pls tell me what we need to do for this

Hi ,

make sure current path of load is physically separate from current path that powers LCD and 8051..i.e.use a star ground
 
Also that there is adequate decoupling and reservoir caps for the LCD Displays power.
