[SOLVED] 16f887 simple question

hi guys! i have a doubt regarding the Vref+/Vref+ pins of the 16f887 pic, how do i have to configured then in order to use them as an ADC external reference? the question is should they be configured as an inputs in trisa (00001100) and then configure them as analog input in ansel register (00001100)? the datasheet doesnt tell details of the Vref pins wiring and am i lil bit confused about it

Yes. They should be set as input pins using TRISA and then set in ADCON1 and ANSEL. Difference of voltage between Vref - and Vref+ should be 2.5V or more.
