hi Guys,

can anybody tell me ?

when we do spp (S Parameter Simulation) in cadence Spectre RF and we have to plot S11, S12, S21 and S22. we have to choose dB20 with rectangular mode and
there is one more option below in that window to choose Power Gain P with dB10.

so, in Spectre RF when we plot S21 with dB20 . then is that mean Voltage Gain or Power Gain.

Please comment on it.

"spp" is not SP analysis. "spp" is a conversion program of HSPICE netlist to Spectre netlist.

And SP analysis is a function of Spectre not SpectreRF.

Study a definition of S21.
mag(S21) is sqrt(Pout/Pa).
Here Pa is an available power of input signal source.
Pout is a power delivered to load.

I appreciated your reponse but I believe you might not have understood my question.

please go through my question then you may understand.
I would like to know what is mean of talking S21 in dB20 in Cadence Spectre RF tool.

No one can understand meaning of your sentences.
Please describe sentences correctly.

I can't understand what you mean, even if "talking" is a typo of "taking".
What do you mean ?

"DC,AC,XF,SP,Noise,STB,TRAN" are Spectre.

"PSS,PAC,PXF,PSP,PNoise,PSTB" are SpectreRF.
"QPSS,QPAC,QPXF,QPSP,QPNoise" are SpectreRF.

Again don't mention SpectreRF.
It is Spectre not SpectreRF for your purpose.

And I think your question is Post Processing not Spectre, although I can't understand meaning of your question.
