SMPS

i am making a (12V, 8.5A) 100W SMPS but i need to control the output using potentiometer. can you help me how make a control circuit using potentiometer? can you suggest a control circuit? PLEASE HELP. Thanks

well you make the lower divider resistor variable with the pot

Re: SMPS

I think i already try that idea but still the same, maybe the set-up of resistor divider and potentiometer is wrong. can you shall the connection? please help

How much do you need to vary the output? If you're using a PWM control chip, then the duty cycle (which determines your output voltage) is set by a RC network. Instead of a fixed R in the network, you can put a potentiometer. Changing the pot value will then change the duty cycle and thus the output voltage.
